Strawberry Frappe

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup (8 oz) of whole milk

  • 1.5 cups (12 oz) of ice cubes

  • 1 oz of strawberry syrup

  • 1.5 oz of granulated sugar

  • 1/4 teaspoon of xanthan gum (optional for thicker texture)

  • Whipped cream for both the bottom and top of the drink

  • Red sprinkles for topping (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Add a layer of whipped cream to the bottom of your tall glass or kids cup.

  2. In the blender, combine milk, strawberry syrup, granulated sugar, ice cubes, and xanthan gum.

  3. Blend on low power for about 5 seconds, then increase to high for another 10-15 seconds, or until the mixture is smooth and the ice is completely crushed.

  4. Pour the frappe mixture into the glass over the layer of whipped cream, leaving about an inch of space below the rim.

  5. Top with a generous dollop of whipped cream and finish with red sprinkles.
