Iced Peppermint Mocha

Ingredients:

  • 1-2 oz. Freshly Brewed Espresso

  • 1 cup (240mL) Cold Whole Milk

  • 1.5 oz. Peppermint Syrup

  • 1 oz. Dark Chocolate Sauce (plus extra for drizzling)

  • Whipped Cream for topping

  • Ice Cubes

  • Crushed candy canes for garnish

Tools/Glassware:

  • Espresso Machine or Coffee Maker

  • Espresso Measuring Glass

  • Milk Pitcher

  • Tall Glass

  • Ziplock bag (for crushing candy canes)

  • Spoon or rolling pin (for crushing)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare your desired amount of espresso and let it cool slightly.

  2. In the Tall Glass, drizzle dark chocolate sauce along the inside walls (optional for extra flavor).

  3. Measure and pour the Peppermint Syrup and cooled espresso into the Tall Glass.

  4. In the Milk Pitcher, measure 1 cup of cold milk and pour it into the Tall Glass.

  5. Stir the mixture well to combine the espresso, syrup, and milk.

  6. Fill the Tall Glass with ice cubes.

  7. Top with a generous amount of whipped cream.

  8. Place candy canes in a ziplock bag and use a spoon or rolling pin to crush them into small pieces.

  9. Drizzle extra dark chocolate sauce over the whipped cream and sprinkle the crushed candy canes on top for a festive garnish.
