Peppermint Mocha

Ingredients:

  • 1-2 oz. Freshly Brewed Espresso

  • 1 cup (240mL) Whole Milk

  • 1.5 oz. Peppermint Syrup

  • 1 oz. Dark Chocolate Sauce (plus extra for drizzling)

  • Whipped Cream for topping

  • Crushed candy canes for garnish

  • Chocolate bar for shavings

  • Espresso Machine or Coffee Maker

  • Espresso Measuring Glass

  • Milk Frother

  • Milk Pitcher

  • Coffee Mug

  • Ziplock bag (for crushing candy canes)

  • Vegetable peeler (for chocolate shavings)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare your desired amount of espresso and pour it into the Coffee Mug.

  2. Add the Peppermint Syrup and Dark Chocolate Sauce to the Coffee Mug, stirring until combined.

  3. In the Milk Pitcher, heat 1 cup of whole milk in the microwave for 1 to 1:30 minutes.

  4. Froth the heated milk using the Milk Frother until creamy and slightly foamy.

  5. Slowly pour the frothed milk into the Coffee Mug, mixing it with the syrup, chocolate, and espresso.

  6. Top with a generous amount of whipped cream.

  7. Use a vegetable peeler to shave chocolate from a chocolate bar and sprinkle the shavings over the whipped cream.

  8. Place candy canes in a ziplock bag and crush them into small pieces using a spoon or rolling pin.

  9. Garnish the whipped cream with crushed candy canes for a festive touch.

  10. Drizzle extra dark chocolate sauce over the top if desired, and enjoy your decadent Hot Peppermint Mocha!
